LA Updates!

Justin and I left at 5 am Friday mornig for LA. Running a little late, not hungary at all, of course we stopped at Sonic for breakfast. (don't you hate when you do that!) We had the discussion on why we crave Sonic so much. We decided it was because that was one of the only fast food joints in the small towns we grew up in.

We got off the plane in LA (thrilled to exit after sitting behind some "stinkers" for 3 hours) and headed to market. Of course we stopped and changed in the hotel restroom. LA was hopping with new trends and unique fashion specimens.

NEWS:
Bohemian is back! but not the same of course! Have you ever noticed how when trends start coming back around, they always are tweeked just a tad so you can't recycle too many of your old stuff too well!
Some trends I saw happening all over the place were
-Roman Sandles-flat with tons of straps, I would stick to ankle length though. Any color will do!
-Belts will be in again-low slung thin belts or wide waits belts...whatever, it's all great this season.
-Metallic tights-Tights will be here again this fall and winter. But we are getting crasy with it, prints, metllics and zippers.
-Hats- Hats are everywhere, embrase it! Love it! Wear it! Dont worry about where you are going, just put your hat on a rock it! You look good...you look cool....people like it! A particular hat you will be seeing around is a fedora, turned up in the back with lots of style. Just think about some big movies right now that are about hats, Indiana Jones, the Fedora SJP wears in Sex and the City.......
-Patterns and Prints-on everything, mens shirts, womens dresses, leggings. Just do'nt mix too many together! one at a time!
-Over size clutches-of any color and tyle
and of course-
VINTAGE!......a timless cool! No matter how you put it all together, it always works and keeps you different.
